All Pro Plumbing Founder’s Story - Words From Our Owner

I was born into a plumbing family that stretches back five generations. Sometimes I feel that as a baby I was given a pipe wrench instead of a rattle, which is fine with me. I love plumbing, always have and always will. I can't see myself doing anything else.

My great-grandfather started his plumbing business in New York City. Like his father, my father also became a plumber and moved our family to Arizona to start a plumbing business servicing hospitals, schools, and Prisons, etc. As a youth, I was given a $5 allowance each day to stock his plumbing trucks with the materials needed to perform the duties of the day’s assignments.

Eventually, my father became the head plumbing inspector for the City of Scottsdale and co-authored the UPC (United Plumbing Codes) for the west coast.

Plumbing is in my blood. Even when we take vacations I find ways to help others regarding their plumbing problems. Often when I’m at a local hardware store and I see people looking at toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals and or sprinkler systems, I am happy to give them my advice and recommendation.

Over the years I accumulated a ton of plumbing experience while working as a plumber in Arizona. Eventually, I decided it was time to follow in the family tradition, so I moved to California and on March 31, 1993, I started All Pro Plumbing.

I love what I do, and I love the people I serve. Over the last few decades, I've accumulated many repeat customers. We have gone through marriages, divorces, births and passing’s together and I feel I can call them my friends.

In the beginning, I built a large fleet of vans on the road which meant I had to maintain a large expense to advertise to keep those vans running. In 2001 I decided to downsize and have a more manageable, personal and less expensive business. Since I was able to save on my advertising I chose to pass those savings onto my customers.

As with life, we've had our ups and downs, but our customers have always been number one. I'm a stepfather to 4 kids and a Papa to 6 beautiful children. Life has been good to me and I'll enjoy my life, my family and my business until the end when, with my pipe wrench in hand, I join my grandfather and father.
